Pharmafludics columns are available in multiple configurations that are decided based on the i.d and length of the column. These configurations are run at different flow rates and chromatographic run times. The deciding factors for the selection of a particular configuration of columns are the complexity if a sample (no. of components) and the abundance of those components.
The µPAC columns are made by state of the art etching of a silicon wafer, and have a separation backbone of highly ordered and free-standing pillars.
