Dr. Dipak Thakur obtained his M.Sc. in Chemistry from Mumbai University and PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Barnett Institute of Chemical and Biological Analysis at Northeastern University in Boston, MA under the guidance of Prof. Barry L. Karger. During his doctoral studies, he had worked on development of sensitive high performance analytical methods for the comprehensive characterization of proteins and glycoproteins from samples of clinical and biopharmaceutical importance. Following completion of his doctoral studies, Dipak had worked as a scientist/Analytical lead in technical development group at Novartis Vaccines and diagnostics, Cambridge, MA.
“In 2013, Dr Thakur returned to India and joined Wockhardt Biotechnology R&D group, and set up high end characterization and comparability laboratory which supports the development of processes and formulations of biopharmaceuticals.”
Since June 2018, Dr. Thakur founded ACRNS Analytical Technologies Pvt. Ltd which provides training, consultancy and distributorship to help bring analytical technologies to biopharmaceutical developers.
